We offer Instrumentation Radar Systems for the development and verification of weapon systems and munitions; Tracking Radars for space launch safety, monitoring objects in orbit (space situational awareness), and integrated air and missile defense (IAMD); and Surveillance Radars for drone/UAS detection and ground-based air defense.
Our radars are renowned for their reliability in extreme environments, ensuring mission success for our clients worldwide. All radars are produced at our factories in Denmark, with approximately 98% exported worldwide. Our systems are the benchmark for ballistic verification and missile testing and employed at virtually all worldwide friendly country defense test ranges. It is trusted by major space organizations for securing airspace during international space launches. We have delivered more than 6,000 radars to over 40 countries.
About the Position
The Instrumentation Sales team is seeking a dedicated Bid Manager to drive the internal bidding process in alignment with our governance standards. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Key Account Directors and collaborate closely with our VP Sales, Instrumentation as well as all internal departments involved in the bidding process. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our internal Bid Process and managing the implementation of our CRM system.
The Bid Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure the execution of a rigorous, high-quality internal bid process at Weibel. You will manage the bid board process, which includes gathering and consolidating input from various internal teams such as Projects and Programs, Production, R&D, Finance, Aftermarket, and Legal. Key focus areas include:
- Assisting Key Account Directors with responses to RFIs, Market Surveys, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring prompt delivery by efficiently managing Weibel's Bid Board process.
- Supporting Key Account Directors following contract negotiations by managing Weibel's Contract Award Board process.
In addition, the Bid Manager:
- Manages Weibel's documentation structure, Bid Board Templates etc. according to ISO 9001
- Manages Weibel's Dynamics 365 CRM implementation
The Bid Manager reports to VP Sales, Instrumentation and the workplace will be in our headquarters in Alleroed, Copenhagen.

Your new team
Our instrumentation sales team is made up of Key Account Directors, Business Development Directors, Product Managers, Bid Managers, and Marketing. Our team members bring a wide range of educational backgrounds and cultural perspectives, with experience in the defense radar industry ranging from just a few years to several decades. The team is responsible for the entire sales process of Weibel's instrumentation radar business in a field where Weibel is the market leader. Our work requires collaboration with all parts of the company to ensure our products match our customers' expectations, are competitive, and delivered on time.
